We're getting ready to ring in a 3 day weekend! Do you have any special weekend plans? We are having a relaxing weekend at home. Matt is getting ready for an upcoming trip, so he's packing and I plan to do some reading, find a good movie to watch one evening and do a little gardening. We'll do a family meal with my in-laws on Monday. Here are some of my favorites from the week.
A Relaxing Porch
Last weekend I did a deep clean on the porch and sitting area. I've been enjoying happy hour and reading on the porch after work. It has been glorious! I am think of installing a few ceiling fans on this side of the porch for a little breeze. We have ceiling fans over the grilling area on the south side of the house, however, we site on the west side more often and could benefit from a little breeze. It's a beautiful place to watch the sunset.
Gardening
I have a little row of some of my favorite summer veggies replanted. I have tomato plants, jalapeno peppers, zucchini, yellow squash and cucumbers in this row. On the next row I sowed 2 rows of green beans.
The Good Stuff
In April a friend of mine introduced me to
The Good Stuff which is a coffee additive from the
Coffee for Wellness company of a couple of pro golfers. I have been adding a scoop to my coffee daily and it has really keep me full until lunch without snacks. My focus has increased as well. It contains collagen, MCT oil powder, L-theanine, and cinnamon...so all of the good stuff. I just add a scoop to my cup of coffee with a little heavy whipping cream. I have this at my desk with a breakfast bar and that's all I need until lunch. Prior to using this, I would drink straight black coffee or tea with my breakfast bar and still require a snack around 10 am. I'm not affiliated with this company in any way and it's not MLM.
